Round Table Discussion on How To Network Effectively
We've all been to a networking event where we felt nervous and out of place. TWN strives to smooth out those jitters and make everyone feel welcome.
Agenda:
-10:30a to 11am. Chat and grab a bite to eat
-11am to 12pm. Spend time going around to introduce ourselves. Each person is encouraged to speak about the challenges and successes they have had with networking. Back and forth discussion is encouraged, provided everyone gets an opportunity to speak.
-12pm to 12:05pm. Group Announcement
-12:05pm to 12:30pm. Mingle after the meeting. Apply some newly-learned skills.
This is a low-key lunch that serves a lot of purposes: Get your name out there and Meet new people, Learn some networking do's and don'ts, Relax and fill your belly, and Find out about our group culture and upcoming Membership opportunity.
